Good Friends!

My friend Cheryl had me over for dinner the other night.

She spoiled me rotten with her fresh and fabulous pasta salad that was full of tasty herbs… plus a sweet South African red wine… what was the name again Cheryl?

I hadn’t been over for a while and it was fun to look around her condo at all her fun stuff. She’s got cool coffee paraphernalia, a quirky clock,  a glass table etched with words and an all-around artsy ambiance.

Her container herbs are overflowing with herbal goodness and I loved her herb centerpieces.  Basil spilled over a tall slender vase and another glass container sprouted rosemary, basil and parsley. So sweet. So convenient.

Good friends! You gotta love ’em!

I believe she served you Robertson’s Rose! Tasty!

That would be correct, although Heidi had the Robertson’s Red as did the hubz. Thanks for introducing me to the smooth sweetness that this wine delivers!

I love the upside down terracotta pots as stands. I’ve used upside down pots to hold barn board for shelves. My friend actually had her box spring and mattress held up by 4 quite large ones. Talk about a flower bed!

Thank you for all your wonderful comments! And, I see you were your characteristically kind self to omit the fact that the pasta salad was SUPPOSED to be a tuna salad, but someone forgot the tuna!! Was great having you here, Heidi. Let’s not let so much time pass before it happens again. 🙂
