Purples and Passions

Purple passions…

prple phlox use

This pretty Phlox is putting the Delphinium next to it, to shame.

Look Mom… grapes! Actual grapes on my first grapevine.  I can hardly believe it. They’re small but mighty… just as an oak starts with an acorn, I imagine these lil beauties hiding wine and jam in the secret of its secret places.  And I’ll wait patiently.

Hard to see the precious little purple flowers on this herb, Porterweed… but it’s an extraordinary plant that adores the sun and sweetly bounces back from irresponsible caretakers who count on the actual forecast to keep it hydrated!

Beautiful! My purple plant is blooming AGAIN! Must be the great care you gave it while I was on vacation.
