Happy 4th of July!

Have you read the Declaration of Independence lately?  If you’re like me… nope.  It’s pretty intense.  How brave our forefathers were… when they decided that “freedom” from tyranny was worth risking their lives and everything else for!  Freedom.  I guess it’s true what they say.. it has never been free!  My pastor pointed out the last line from the document today…

— And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.

Thanks to the men and women fighting for freedom all over the world!  Lord, help me to remember to offer them up in prayer and thank them every day!

We celebrated 4th of July at home… camping in the backyard.  It was a blast!

Christmas Cactus

And, my Christmas cactus is blooming AGAIN! Is it normal for it to bloom 3 times since Thanksgiving?  I’m LOVING it!
